I heard my old pastor say something years ago that really stuck with me. He said “Without God, we can’t but without us, God won’t.”
I found this to be equally wise as it has been true in my life.
God does not answer prayers by forcing us to do something or by doing it for us as both would eliminate the whole we are creatures of free will thing. I believe God primarily answers prayers through the use of other people and by providing us with the grace, will power, wisdom, determination and strength to take the action necessary.
Accomplishing your goals and dreams is at the very least a two party system in which you MUST be an active, if not the PRIMARY participant. Also remember that the more action you take the more action you are able to take!
Do your part “consistently” and see how God rewards you for your faithfulness and diligence.
